AMCHAM (American Chamber of Commerce) sponsored a business mission to the U.S. with Brazil’s embassy in Washington DC, on May 13 and 14, in order to foment possible relations between investors and 12 select Brazilian IT companies, among them Invit.
Among the activities developed at the event, participants visited Microsoft, big companies in the Silicon Valley, Fairfax Innovation Center, Germantown Innovation Center and Brazil’s Ambassador’s house in DC. A cocktail party was also offered to participants by Ambassador Mauro Vieira.
They promoted informational lectures dealing themes like: “The Commercial Relations Brazil – United States”, “The Political Landscape of Washington”, “The North American IT market” and “Business Opportunities to Brazilian companies in the states of Maryland and Virginia”.
Through the developed activities, Invit, represented by its CEO – Sérgio Paim, has acquired strategic knowledge to release the Projeto Guarda-Costas (Bodyguard Project - in English) in the U.S., since it’s an innovative enterprise focused in personal and estate security area, that uses the most promising technologies in the sector.
