Bodyguard |
The Bodyguard
is Invit´s
newest (and most innovative)
project. Turned to the personal
and estate security area, the
project has been recently
approved by FINEP, in its
Financial Subsidy to Innovation
(2009 issue).
This program is today one of the
most important governmental
instruments of support to
innovation and, by relevance and
visibility, counts on a panel of
experts that evaluates the
degree on innovation and also
the potential of
internationalization.
|
| |
|
The Bodyguard Project
encompasses applied research,
state of the art technologies,
and a business model with high
international potential. |
| |
The Bodyguard
applies the latest IT market
innovations, such as Mobile
Computing (3G, GPS), Voice
Interface, Cloud Computing, SaaS
(Software-as-a-Service),
Semantic Web (Web 3.0) and
Artificial Intelligent.
Besides, the project is an
excellent example of
business-school cooperation,
when counted on the
participation of researchers
from UFU (Federal University of
Uberlândia) and UFRGS (Federal
University of Rio Grande do Sul)
– masters, doctors and
post-doctors in Electrical
Engineering, Biomechanical
Engineering, Mathematics and
Computer Science.
In a close strategic and
operational partnership with
Microsoft, it is one of the main
innovation projects in the
country to use the most recent
technologies, especially Windows
Azure, .NET Framework 4.0
(Dublin) e RIA (WPF
&
Silverlinght).
